260000 This 32" St Joseph the Worker statue in full color features the Ulpe Wood Art trademark which guarantees the highest quality sculptures as one of the leading art studios in woodcarving art. High quality art works, woodcarved in valuable mountain woods and handpainted.

The artist Ulrich Perathoner comes from a wood sculpting family from the Val Gardena, where this craft developed in the mid-17th century. In those days decorating sculptors passed on their artistic experience to other sculptors who further developed the method and technique and worked out new themes such as sacral motifs. Ulrich Perathoner is one of these sculptors and he has worked successfully as master sculptor since 1972. He started his career at the School of Arts in Ortisei and then honed his artistic skills and knowledge at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. His personal aspirations to hone his artistic skills helped him to establish an internationally leading wood sculpting business.

Since 2003 Ulrich Perathoner’s son Daniel Perathoner has been working in the business too. He has made a wood sculpting training before attending the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, from which he graduated with outstanding artistic achievement as a student of the master class. Thus he will have the qualities and qualifications to run such a business: creativity and an excellent training.
